[Clearance] Jamieson Calcium Magnesium, 200 caps (EXP:2019/07)
A highly absorbable and balanced formula that is gentle on digestion. Helps to prevent bone loss, Osteoporosis.
Calcium Magnesium helps maintain strong bones and healthy teeth and helps prevent osteoporosis, which increases the risk of fractures later in life. It may also help to reduce high blood pressure and it plays a role in relieving PMS. Calcium helps alleviate insomnia, supports colon health and is good for adolescents and post-menopausal women.
This calcium-magnesium formula helps maintain a steady metabolism while conducting nerve impulses. Together, these minerals support mutual absorption and utilization. The optimal two-to-one calcium-magnesium ratio also prevents adverse gastrointestinal side effects often found when the two minerals are combined.
Calcium Magnesium contains calcium from a highly absorbable natural complex and it is also formulated using a highly absorbable natural complex of five magnesium sources including citrate, fumarate, malate, succinate and glutamate.

Each caplet contains:
Elemental Calcium............................................................... 333 mg
(From a complex of calcium carbonate, calcium citrate, calcium fumarate, calcium malate, calcium succinate)
(From a complex of magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate, magnesium fumarate, magnesium malate, magnesium succinate)
Adults: Take 1 caplet 3 times daily with a meal. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
Drug Interactions: Calcium and magnesium can interfere with tetracycline antibiotics and calcium channel blockers. Consult your physician before use if you are taking any thiazide diuretics, as these can cause extremely high (potentially toxic) levels of calcium in the body. Magnesium can increase levels of diuretics in the body.
Nutrient Depletions: Excess calcium can impair the absorption of the mineral iron. Calcium and/or magnesium may interact with or be depleted by corticosteroids, bronchodilators, anti-osteoporotics, cholesterol-reducing medications, anti-gout medications, anti-fungals, immunosuppressants, anti-malarial drugs, anti-tuberculosis drugs, oral contraceptives, biguanides, sulfonylureas, and sulfonamides. Foods high in phosphorus (animal protein and soft drinks) promote urinary loss of calcium. High consumption of caffeine, and excess dietary fat and fibre can inhibit calcium absorption.
Supportive Interactions: Vitamin D enhances calcium absorption. Ensure that you are getting at least 400 IU of Vitamin D each day for optimal calcium absorption. Garlic supplements along with calcium may help reduce high blood pressure.
Warnings and Precautions: Some people may experience diarrhea.
Toxicity, Adverse Warnings and Side Effects: Calcium carbonate may cause symptoms of gas, bloating, or constipation. If this occurs, switch to calcium citrate. Excess calcium can contribute to the development of kidneys stones, and may cause calcium deposits in the body. If you experience abdominal pain, appetite loss, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, mood or mental changes, nausea, tiredness, weakness, discomfort urinating, or vomiting, discontinue use and contact a physician.
Suggested Usage: 1 caplet 3 times daily with meal or as directed by a health practitioner
